Nailed It!!

So last night i noticed my nails were looking a little bit shabby and ermmm shit basically!

So here is my little pamper guide for your nails girls!

1.) I started by removing my nail varnish from the last time I applied it to give me my blank canvas back to begin with my new colour *cough cough* ok same colour I always use.

Warning im about to name and shame a shit product in my opinion!

Now the other day I bought Maybelline express finish 40 in turquoise lagoon to wear with some trousers i had bought!

Now I'm the kinda giddy girl who just cant wait so decided to clean off one nail and try it out. The application was all gloopy like it was one i had for ages, but nothing a few coats didnt sort out! The colour was ok (I may be an addict to my old colour nothing compares). So i carry on the rest of the day to see how it was or wear and tear and it passes on that one!

So i begin removing all the old stuff to start a fresh with my nails and to my horror! My nail has gone green!! Like i have been picking my nose! No seriously though it was stained GREEN! Now maybe i could understand this if i had it on for days and days but i only had this on 24 hours if that!

I really dont think im going to wear that again! my trousers will just have to match my nails i oh so love!

Back to the good stuff now!

2.) So once I have removed all traces of the crap above, I washed my hands and gave them a scrub with the nail brush. Once dried I cut my nails, filed them (do not file with a back and for motion this can weaken and break the nail,) File them in one direction.

TIP: I dont have any cuticle oil so i used a little bit of olive oil to soften my cuticles and tidy them up.

Then I put the first coat of Barry M base coat top coat and nail hardener on using it as a nail hardner and base coat.

3.) Once the base coat has dried then apply the colour you wish. I'm using models own in coral reef. I applied one coat, once that dried I like to add another coat, but thats completely own preference.

4.) If you wish, as they are pretty shiny enough, you can then add the top coat of the barry m, I do because i find it helps protect them from chips.

5.) Finally once dry moisturise with a lush smellin hand moisturiser! I used a cocoa butter hand cream! mmmmmm! nommy nommy nom nom!

There you have it! pampered hands!

Tip of the day! Don't buy a telescope, just walk closer to what you want to see!

n'awwww c'mon! haha! Make sure you keep your hands neat and tidy after all hands are just another way of communication and everyone sees them!

Ahhh i neeed help!!!

NOW THIS IS URGENT!!

When i went to retrieve a wipe from my pack i did the normal everyday thing in peeling back the sticky cover to pull out a wipe in which i would stick it back down after! Now this was the first wipe i was getting! A brand new packet is what im trying to tell you! and to my horror the seal ripped!!

Now i dont know if you can see it! but in my hand is the ripped bit :(

So now i have that horrible worry of my wipes drying out :(! Has this happened to you before? Do you have any advice for me in sealing my wipes so they dont dry out?

Hope someone can come to my rescue!

Sgt I apologise for breaking the following rule!

Rule 1.) Make up off before bed!

I commited a beauty sin! I left my makeup on when I went to sleep!

Blogger Burton do not let this happen again or punishment will be given!



9:30 am: Due to some bloggers breaking rules the first order is to make sure you remove all traces of makeup in the morning if you have not done so the night before! MOVE MOVE MOVE!

I like to use face wipes to take my makeup off!

 9:35 am: Once makeup is removed the next step is to do a check of your skin for any enemies such as the army of blackheads and spots! Any enemies found invading should immediately be targeted and put under fire! The best weapon blogger Burton uses is Sudocrem!

Apply sudocrem to the invaded area!

9:35-40 am: So the enemy was successfully ceased! The next orders are to apply the 2in1 wash and mask as a face mask! This involves squeezing onto your finger and applying to your face all over!

This is the 2in1 mask you must use!

9:40am: Now the next bit is crucial! In order to make this a success you must make sure water temp is correct and bubble bath  is at hand! This bath is the key to relaxing while the mask sets! Any pets make sure you give them a kiss a goodbye! This could be mask threatening if you get your face wet too soon the mask could turn into a wash!



Remember the bath is crucial!

09:45-50 am: It has now reached that time bloggers! The time in which the mask becomes a wash! Add a small amount of water to your hands and lather onto the mask this will wash and then rinse it off!

Be aware the bubble monster may attack!

10:00am: after following these orders and relaxing and washing now was time to get out of the bath and begin to get ready! orders were followed perfectly! My face is feeling refreshed and skin soft!

AHHHH thats better! So what did i actually think of this.. considering this was the first time i used it, its not too bad! saves money in buying two products when you have it in one! A little goes along way too so you wont have to worry about buying it again for a while! Its smells good and my skin did feel soft after using it. But for more long term effects I will have to keep you updated and let you know if it is a good everyday wash! So keep them eyes fixed for the future review! I will leave you to some pics i took after my little pamper session!

Here are just a few things that dive into a little bit about me, my routine and my life :D

A life saver! hands up for the sudocrem woop woop!

Sudocrem! wow! Now this has come in handy a good few times in my late teens and adult life! yes the skin gods have not blessed me with good skin! Now I'm not saying I have the worse skin there is, but i seem to get quite a few annoying spots around my chin and round my hair line and forehead! Then the superhero sudocrem came to my rescue and i just dab a little on my spot and wallllahhh! Just a lil tip for y'all dont mask this on your face It may result in having lizardly dry skin!

Baby oil mmmm makes your skin baby bum soft

Nowww baby oil smells lush and makes your skin baby soft! What more could you want! When i used to live with my parents I used to add a few drops to my bath and bammm as i got out the bath and rubbed my skin droplets of oil used to melt in ahhhhh B..E..A..UTIFUL! Just a tip do not put your hair in the water with oil in as this could result in a greasy noggin! My mum used to moan at me for putting oil in my bath.. i know! whats the problem mum!.. Well i kinda discovered the hard way.. when i moved into my flat.. Bath time bubbles and baby oil mmmm relaxing... all working out as normal! uhhh ohhhh i was wrong! It took me days to get the oil from of the sides of my bath and made it very slippery when it came to shower time! it just didnt seem to bugger off! So lesson learned! I still want that silky soft skin so now as soon as i jump out of the bath after air dryin for few seconds i just rub it on my body job done! brush your teeth, rinse ya bath out or summit while it soaks up before dressing. Wallah my secret to bum smooth skin! Continue doing it at ya parents or make someone else clean it up lol if you cant then do the second part!

Models own coral nail varnish absolutly larvvve it!!

This colour is the most amazing colour ever! it makes my toes and my hands look so beautiful it really is an amazing colour! It stands out! It has a shine without havng to fuss about a clear top coat! I have about 4 of these in this colour i must admit i should probs try something new but im just soooo addicted! The best nail varnish ever! I have tried over coral colours but this just tops em allll!

Now where I work we have to have our hair up allll the time.. no exception... ughhh i know! That is so unfair!! But thank god there are just so mannny updos and tutorials nowadays! Mainly i stick to wearing my hair in a bun, a sleek or messy ponytail and a braiding my fringe off my face! I may have to put some tutorials up next time while im doing them if your interested!

The beloved Make up

I will bring it to an end now, so i can update you with more of my tips in future blog posts, ending with make up! I just could not live without it! i dont care if people say natural beauty is better! I love painting my face in different designs with makeup, be it smokey, bright, minimal... i love it all! Its amazing it deffo enhances what you already have and does bloody wonders! I will not leave my flat without my make up on! My family and my boyfriend are the only ones to see me without my mask! So future blogs i will review makeup and give step by steps on how i do mine!

Well I guess this a Hello to all you lovely bloggers!

 

So this is my first post.... WOW! Quite a mad thought people may actually read what i got to say lol! I suppose this is the part where i tell you about myself and bla bla bla blahhh! Well im 21 years old and i work on an army camp as that is pretty much all there is to do where i live! It aint all that bad though i work with some rather cool people and i happened to meet the love of my life on this army camp. It wasnt william meet kate kinda thing it was kinda an accident, we started out as friends and decided a night out was the way forward! Sooooo y'no i got a little drunk and suddenly we decided we had feelings for each other and one thing led to another... ok now stop there... your lettin your ickle imaginations run wild lol ... we just decided we wanted to be more then friends. So the next morning not only did i wake up with a sore head i wake up with a boyfriend... UH OH! Ok so your wondering why i'm saying uh oh aint ya?! Now i dont know if it was the blue wkds, vodka or jager bombs that decided i wanted a boyfriend but that definatly wasnt what i wanted! In panic i turned to my friend " s*%$ what on earth have i done! i dont want a boyfriend!" So now i had the hard job of ending this relationship! Wow Britney Spears marriage lasted longer then this...CRINGE! D'ya no what! I'm going to give this ago we get on like a house on fire why the hell not! So we cracked on, i suppose it was official, boyfriend and girlfriend! We are still together to this day and actually now live together and now approaching our two year anniversary! I guess life is about taking chances! Best risk i ever took! He is such a romantic... ( i say this while i read a text of him saying he will be leaving in a min he is just havin a poo!) who said romance was dead eh!
